Phoenix police confiscate 3 assault rifles, grenade launcher in drug bust | Arizona News

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) — Phoenix police say they confiscated three assault rifles and a grenade launcher during a drug bust in Phoenix earlier this week.

Police said they were investigating in the area of 67th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road. Authorities say the month-long investigation ended with the arrest of 20-year-old Hector Vega on Wednesday.

Police said over 75,000 M30 or “suspected fentanyl” pills were taken. They have an estimated value of $452,000. A handgun and three assault rifles, one of which had a grenade launcher attached were confiscated as well.
