Five vehicle crash in Glendale leaves two women injured | Arizona News



GLENDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) — Police say a five vehicle crash in Glendale, including a rear-end collision, has left two women injured on Wednesday night.

Just before 7:30 p.m., Glendale police responded to the crash near 47th Avenue and Camelback Road. One woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Police say a second woman was also taken to the hospital as a precaution.

From our Arizona’s Family news chopper, five damaged vehicles were seen throughout the road. A white truck had a bent hood and a white SUV also had damage to the rear bumper.

Police say impairment is not believed to be a factor, but the investigation is ongoing. The roadway from 47th to 51st Avenues on Camelback will be closed for several hours. The cause of the crash has not been revealed.
