Apple provider Foxconn suspends manufacturing at two China factories

(Reuters) – Apple Inc (NASDAQ:)’s prime provider Foxconn Technology Group halted operations at two of its factories in japanese China’s Kunshan after new COVID-19 instances have been reported on website, the South China Morning Post reported on Monday.

The operations at these crops have been suspended since Wednesday final week, with all workers confined to dormitories inside, the report stated.

The two Foxconn crops, situated at Dianfa and Fuhong within the northern a part of Kunshan, are two of 4 manufacturing campuses operated within the metropolis by the Taiwanese agency, which is also referred to as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd.

Apple and Foxconn didn’t instantly reply to Reuters’ request for remark.
